Game today, gone tomorrow

Time. I don't have enough of it. Between all of life's many distractions (I'm talking about you 'reality' TV) I find that I don't have time to devote to all of my creative pursuits. To the game i was kinda-sorta working on, I am putting you on hold. It's not you, It's me.

Here's some of my earlier work on it. Maybe next week I'll change my mind it all depends on what's on TV. Right now i need to get back to building my robot.

Star Wars Day

With the release of the 6 Star Wars movies on Blu-ray and the Season 4 Premiere of the Clone Wars , it's Star Wars day. With that in mind I dug up some of the designs I did for the second Podracer game, namely Star Wars Racer Revenge. I (incorrectly) assumed it would be my only brush with this particular universe. Although it doesn't feels like it, looking at the dates now, I see that was a full ten years ago. Where does the time go?

So stay safe out there and make sure to watch The Clone Wars Season 4.

Yes you're right, it has been a while.New job, new city and all that. I've been busy of late but as today was a particularly lazy Saturday I really have no excuse. No particular theme for this post I was simply trolling through my hard drive and came across a monster. I also found some unfinished work that I'll have to clean up and polish for later posts.

Well summer is here and in Arizona that means the standard vampiric routine; Stay indoors at all times, Travel only by means of air-conditioned vehicles with heavy tint, don't park your vehicle in the sun for more than ten minutes and unless it's a trip to the emergency room it's best not to even bother and just stay indoors.
Thank you Netflix, you saved my life.

To counteract the shut-in experience I get to draw what summer should be about. The sights of the seaside (still working on the sounds and smells).

These Images are part of an ongoing range of fairly mundane utility robots i have been working on. They will take on decidedly menacing tones though, based on the context they are placed in an the manner in which they are utilized.

When developing a character it's a handy way of getting a lot of information about a character and their world across in one image. At this stage mood is more important than specifics. If the image is going in the right direction further pieces can be done as needed. Enjoy!
